Overall there are not many changes in the latest 3A regional volleyball tournament projections. We last laid out the bracket on October 25th and five days later many teams remain in the very same position. Several matches left on the schedule this weekend will impact the bracket; especially the Patriot title match between Sterling and Eaton. They were scheduled to play on Tuesday night but that game was pushed back to Wednesday.
In projecting the regional pairings, we used RPI standings before matches opened on October 30th and then true-seeded the bracket 1-36. Once placed in the bracket, teams can be moved for travel purposes and to avoid teams from the same conference being placed together in the same regional. The top 12 teams in the bracket serve as hosts for regional events with winners of each tournament advancing to state November 14-16th in Denver.
