Basketball teams across the state are quickly approaching the end of the regular season and that means attention will soon turn to the playoffs. In anticipation, Colorado Preps has laid out projected state tournaments for Class 4A and 5A girls basketball.
RPI standings before games were played on February 2nd were used to determine the bracket. We true seeded the pairings but teams can be moved to avoid conference matchups in the first round.
In Class 4A, that means changes could occur in pairings between Pueblo East-Pueblo Central and Littleton-Green Mountain.
The 5A true-seeded pairings including first round matchups between league rivals Pine Creek-Coronado and Broomfield- Monarch.
