Eleven ranked teams hit the boys’ basketball courts tonight and all are favored to get a win over an unranked opponent.  Maybe the most difficult challenge is found in Class 2A where unbeaten and 6th ranked Vail Christian welcomes in Coal Ridge.  The Titans are considered a title contender in the Class 3A Western Slope and will be a tough out for the Saints.
Defending 4A state champion Lewis Palmer also looks to snap a three-game losing streak as they line up against 5A Chaparral.  The Rangers lost to Pueblo East on Tuesday and last secured a victory on December 14th.  It’s their final game before the Pikes Peak schedule begins next week.  Chaparral has won their last three and has momentum from Tuesday’s win over #10 Overland (62-60).
