Three weeks remain in the regular season so each game takes on even more importance.   Through the rest of the season, Colorado Preps will take a nightly look at the results and tell you how they impact league championships and the playoff picture.  We invite you to check with us throughout the night as we’ll update the story as results are turned in.

  • CONTINENTAL:  Legend held off Heritage 70-58 to keep sole possession of first place.  The Titans are the lone unbeaten against conference foes.  Mountain Vista and Regis both suffered losses and lost a piece of second place.  They now share fourth place with two losses apiece while ThunderRidge, Rock Canyon and Chaparral are in second with one conference loss.

CLASS 4A

  • DPL:  Northfield and Denver East continue to share the top spot as both were winners on Tuesday.  The Nighthawks downed Regis Groff 86-33 and the Angels stuffed Lincoln 76-69.  The Lincoln loss also leaves George Washington alone in third.

  • NORTHERN:  The standings at the top tightened up as Silve Creek handed Longmont their first league loss.  Longmont is now 8-1 and remains alone in first but their lead over Silver Creek and Centaurus is now down to one games.  Centaurus kept pace with their win over Mountain View.

CLASS 3A

  • PATRIOT:  Top ranked Resurrection Christian held onto sole possession of the lead by beating Eaton 85-59.  The loss dropped the Reds into a third place tie with University and left Sterling alone in second.  Since the Cougars have beaten all three of the top challengers, they’re in great position to land the championship.  Sterling stayed one game back of Resurrection Christian with their easy win over Liberty Common.
