Playoff season is in full swing as CHSAA released the 2024 hockey state tournament brackets with games slated to begin later this week.
In Class 5A, Regis Jesuit is the No. 1 seed with defending champion Valor Christian getting the No. 2 seed. In the 4A bracket, Glenwood Springs is the top overall seed with Steamboat Springs coming in at No. 2. Defending 4A champion Cheyenne Mountain is the No. 5 seed and will travel to Durango for its first game. The Red-Tailed Hawks beat the Demons in last year’s playoffs before playing their way to a state championship.
