If boys volleyball fans have enjoyed the state tournament over the last several years, they’re in for double the fun this season.
Ahead of the state of the state tournaments, CHSAA has released the Class 5A and 4A state tournament brackets. The 2025 boys volleyball tournaments will be played at Trojan Arena at Fountain-Fort Carson High School with games beginning on May 8.
This is the first time in CHSAA history that boys volleyball heads to a state tournament with multiple classifications.
The 2025 boys volleyball state tournament brackets:
Class 5A
Littleton Public Schools takes the No. 1 overall seed in the 5A tournament thanks to a 24-1 record on the season. The only loss LPS suffered during the year was a 2-0 tournament loss to defending state champion Mountain Vista. The Golden Eagles check in at No. 2 on the bracket with Eaglecrest and Legacy rounding out the top four teams.
In the three-year history of boys volleyball in Colorado, each state championship has been won by either Discovery Canyon (2) or Mountain Vista (1). The Thunder are the No. 6 seed on the 5A bracket.
Class 4A
Regis Groff takes the No. 1 spot on the 4A bracket with D’Evelyn coming in at No. 2 and Pueblo South getting the No. 3 seed. DSST: College View rounds out the top four.
All volleyball matches will begin at 12 p.m. on Thursday at Fountain-Fort Carson.
