Colorado Preps again this week will post what we call the composite football rankings as we take polls from RPI, CHSAA, MaxPreps and Packard to develop an overall top 10 in each class. Teams are given 10 points for each first place vote, nine points for second place votes and on down the list through the top 10 in each respective poll.
For the second straight week, we list the entire set of rankings so you can easily see where teams are placed in the various rankings. A team with 40 overall points is considered the unanimous choice at number one and we have two such teams this week; Limon in Class 1A and Stratton/Liberty in six-man. There are two ties for number one rankings in Class 3A between Discovery Canyon & Erie and in eight-man between Sedgwick County & West Grand.
Every team that received at least one top 10 vote is listed.
