For the third straight week, Colorado Preps has compiled the consensus football rankings which combine the voting totals from MaxPreps, CHSAA, RPI and Packard to formulate an overall Top 10. Here are the results for Classes 3A, 4A and 5A.
While RPI will continue to determine playoff berths, along with league champions, a formula using these rankings can be used by the committee to seed the teams in the bracket.
Teams are awarded 10 points for a first place, nine for a second place vote, eight for third, seven for fourth and so on through the Top 10 in each set of rankings. A score of 40 represents an unanimous pick at number one. All teams that received at least one vote is listed.
