Football playoff berths in the 2020 season will be determined by a formula that combines RPI with polls from MaxPreps, Packard and CHSAA.  Each week through the Colorado Preps combines those four polls into one set of consensus rankings.  The goal is to give fans an idea of which teams remain in prime position to earn a post-season bid.

Please note that these are not OFFICIAL playoff standings as we compile them simply for information purposes.  Official standings will be released and playoff brackets announced on Sunday November 15th.

Teams are awarded 10 points for each first-place vote, nine for a second-place vote, eight for third and all the way through the top 10 in each set of polls.  There are a few ties in the latest RPI standings so this week we share the points among the teams involved.  For example, Eads, Granada, Kit Carson and Genoa Hugo sit in a four-way tie for sixth in the six-man rankings.  Spots six through nine would combine for 14 points in the voting so each team receives 3.5 points toward the consensus ranknigs.

Another addition to our consensus rankings this week is a look at sample bracket in each classification.  They are listed below polling numbers for each division.  All teams who received at least one top 10 vote are listed.
