With football playoffs hitting full speed this week, we want to provide a quick reminder about our extensive database that is updated for the 2019 season. The database includes the entire history of football in Colorado dating all the way back to 1921. In the past, we’ve simply listed the histories inside our playoff previews but we now have that information available to our web readers.
The historical data can be sorted in three different fashions; by class, by school and by head-to-head matchups. So if you would like a playoff history of Class 3A, it’s available. If you want to see history of your favorite team; the information is now presented. And the same with head-to-hear matchups; simply type in the two teams that are facing off and you will get a complete history of those playoff matchups.
Links for each type of search are below. You can also access the information in our Football menu. Simply click on Football, then Football History and then select the type of search. Please note that you must use caps and spaces properly to get exact information. For example, Dayspring Christian will work well but dayspringchristian will not.
This is a task we’ve been working on for several years and it seems to draw interest for our readers so we wanted to make it available to the public and throughout the year. We hope you enjoy.
