Football Non-League Games of Note

Playoff football formatting in Colorado allows for conference champions to earn automatic bids to the post-season with the remaining slots filled by RPI rankings.  As a result, there are top non-league games in each class each year that will help determine which clubs head into the post-season and then where they’re placed in the bracket.  Colorado Preps has gone through the schedule for 11-man football and developed our list of the most important non-league games in each class.

Games are listed by class and in chronological order by date.   Most of the games involve matchups of teams within the same classification only as we did not include many cross division contests.

We will offer up the same list for 8man and 6man football once all those schedules are finalized next week.

Colorado Preps will preview the top games each week with our weekly previews and then recap the action with the return of the Scoreboard Show which airs each Friday night from 9:30-11:00pm on the Colorado Preps Radio Network.
