New football rankings have been issued by CHSAA and they reflect several changes based on results from week one.  Two new number one teams can be found as Kit Carson took over the top spot in six man based on their win over defending state champion Stratton/Liberty and Platte Valley used a strong performance over Berthoud to get past idle La Junta in Class 2A.  Remaining number one teams, Valor Christian, Pine Creek, Palmer Ridge, Limon and Sedgwick County all maintained top billing in their respective division.
