While league races and RPI at the end of the season will determine which teams make the playoffs in Classes 4A and 5A, more polling data can be used by the seeding committee to place teams in the bracket.  Those components are the coaches poll from CHSAA and MaxPreps Freeman Rankings.  We combine those with RPI for another round of combined boys basketball rankings for the largest two classifications.

The numbers are unofficial but follow the same formula presented by CHSAA at the end of the season.  We are not compiling similar numbers for Classes 1A, 2A and 3A this year as the combined rankings will not be used for postseason bracketing in those divisions.  The numbers below are based on rankings from February 8th before games opened.
