Girls Top 10

Several good and important matchups can be found across the girls’ basketball top 10 for Friday night.  Leading off is the unbeaten battle of second ranked teams as Sangre De Cristo from 1A heads to Rocky Ford.  It’s a non-conference game but a very good test for both clubs as they begin the second half schedule.

Also in the small school ranks is a likely league championship battle between #4 Limon and #8 Genoa Hugo.  That winner most likely will grab the Union Pacific crown at the end of the season.

Another heavyweight battle is in the big school division as #1 Cherry Creek meets up with #4 Highlands Ranch.  Both teams are strong contenders for the state championship so the game could impact the post-season bracket.

We’ll recap all three games by visiting with the winning coaches during our first Basketball Scoreboard Show tonight.  It airs from 8-10pm on 17 radio stations in Colorado.  Hope you can join us as we rundown important results and visit with winning coaches.
