We’re down to the last two weeks of regular season volleyball play for teams in Classes 2A and 3A. A few league champions still need to be crowned but teams are also starting to strengthen their RPI for the playoff push. New RPI numbers have been released and we use them to again place teams in projected regional tournament pairings.
League champions receive automatic bids and then the rest of the field is determined by RPI standings at the end of the regular season. So realistically, clubs must finish in the top 36 for advancement to the regional tournaments.
Teams ranked 1-12 serve as hosts for the three-team events with the winners advancing to the state tournament.
