Several standouts from across all classes are back to compete on the courts this year after earning all-state volleyball honors a year ago. And we list those who earned first or second team honors. Practices open today with teams eligible to open their season as early as August 16th.
Among the all-state returnees, Tess Hornung of Kit Carson (1A) is the only Player of the Year that is back. Sarah Stevelinck (Lyons), Chelsey Lockey (Eaton), MacKenzie Fidelak (Niwot) and Keeley Davis (Rock Canyon) all finished their high school careers last November.
Colorado Preps will provide coverage of the entire state with weekly classification reports throughout the season. Classes 4A and 5A will seen reports each Tuesday with Classes 3A and 2A each Wednesday. Class 1A updates will be published each Thursday.
