Coming off a tremendous overtime win against Smoky Hill, Cherokee Trail looks to take down another top 10 league rival against Grandview tonight.  The Wolves are ranked third in Class 5A and open the game part of a three-way tie for the Centennial lead with Cherry Creek and Mullen.  Cherokee Trail is one game back at 1-1.
Since Cherry Creek and Mullen also square off tonight, that winner could be alone atop the standings should Cherokee Trail score a second straight upset.   Smoky Hill looks to rebound against Overland.
In Class 4A, #4 Golden and #9 Valor Christian meet inside the Jeffco.  The two are tied with Evergreen at 2-0 through one week of conference play.  The Demons are 9-2 overall and Valor 5-6 but just one of the Eagles’ losses is against a 4A opponent (Thomas Jefferson).
Another interesting battle can be found in the Pikes Peak where top ranked Lewis Palmer puts their unbeaten record on the line at #10 Falcon.  The Falcons opened league play with an overtime loss to Vista Ridge but bounced back to beat Palmer Ridge on the road last week.  They sit at 5-3 overall.
