Two battles inside the Class 3A Patriot draw full attention in the Thursday Top 10 Volleyball schedule. Number one Eaton is challenged by 9th ranked Platte Valley while early unbeatens University and Resurrection Christian, ranked sixth and seventh, also clash.
In addition to those matchups, some rivalry games can also be found in 3A including #3 Sterling-Brush, #4 Colorado Springs Christian-Manitou Springs and #8 Alamosa-Centauri.
In Northeast Colorado, three ranked teams compete in doubleheaders. In 1A, #3 Merino faces both Caliche and Wray while in 2A, #6 Sedgwick County battles #10 Yuma and both teams also have a date with Haxtun.
