Good night of volleyball on tap across the state on Friday including a very interesting matchup in the Northeast. That contest pits Merino on the road to Sterling in a battle of 1A versus 3A. The Rams are ranked fifth in Class 1A with the Tigers checking at number two in 3A. They’re also the defending state champions in that class.
Up in Class 2A, Meeker and West Grand collide in a critical Western Slope game. RPI points and a better statewide ranking are on the line with the winner also likely ending up with the conference championship.
