A very light Top 10 volleyball schedule is set for Saturday but a couple of them have plenty of importance. The most important likely in Class 3A where #6 Cedaredge heads to Coal Ridge. The Bruins can basically finish off the Western Slope race as they’re 6-0 and alone in first. Coal Ridge is 6-1 and tied for second one game back with Delta.
Also in 3A, Alamosa looks to close out a second consecutive 10-0 run through the Intermountain league when they visit Bayfield. The Moose have already clinched the title and Bayfield cannot move up or down from second.
In Class 2A, Limon and Simla continue their long standing rivalry. It’s a non-conference game but RPI standings and where the teams will head for regionals could be impacted. Limon is #1 in RPI and battling for the top overall seed while Simla is 8th and could use a win to sew up the right to host a regional bracket.
