Briggsdale and Merino both return to the Top 10 volleyball court tonight just one day after scoring important league victories.  The Falcons outlasted Prairie 3-2 in a key North Central win that kept them tied with Fleming atop the standings.  Merino took over the top spot in the 1A/2A Lower Platte with their four set home win over Wiggins.  The Rams face Akron tonight and the Falcons head to Peetz.
Rankings wise, the best pairing tonight has #4 Prairie against #8 Otis in Class 1A.  The Mustangs were ranked #1 in week five but have dropped their last two matches.  Otis is 9-4 after falling to Merino (3-1) earlier this week.
#3 Alamosa (3A) will be the busiest team this weekend as they take part in the Queen of the Mountain tournament in Edwards.  They’re scheduled to face Vail Mountain, Durango and host Battle Mountain in early action.
