Light schedule but a very important night of volleyball on Monday.  Three top 10 matchups can be found and all will play a direct role in determining league championships and playoff berths.

Class 4A heads the list with a pairing of Windsor and Mead.  Ranked third and fifth respectively, the Wizards and Mavericks are both unbeaten inside the Northern conference so the winner takes over the top spot.  Windsor closes the regular season with this one so they can clinch the championship with a win.  Mead also has a game with third-place Longmont later in the week so they cannot wrap it up with a victory tonight.

In the Pikes Peak conference, #3 Rampart (5A) looks to hold onto sole possession of the lead against #7 Discovery Canyon (4A).  The Rams also meet Lewis Palmer tomorrow night and must win both to secure the conference crown outright.  Discovery Canyon enters the match tied with Cheyenne Mountain in second place.  The Thunder create a three-way tie for the spot if they get by the Rams.

In Class 2A, Denver Christian looks for a two-game cushion in the Mile High.  They get there by beating #7 Dayspring Christian.  The Eagles sit one game back in the loss column so a win puts them in the drivers’ seat for the league championship.

Outside the rankings, the Confluence league crown and a playoff berth likely goes to the winner between DSST-Byers and Addenbrooke Academy.  They are both unbeaten in that conference.  DSST-Byers would qualify in the 3A ranks while Addenbrooke drops into Class 2A for the playoffs.

The matchup between Manitou Springs and Classical Academy has no league bearing but could improve the winning team with a better RPI number.  Classical Academy is 19th in Class 4A RPI today with Manitou Springs checking in at number 12 in Class 3A.  The Mustangs could possibly inch closer to a top eight seed and play at home in round one with a win.  TCA is also battling for the CS Metro North crown and can grab that by beating Falcon tomorrow night.
