Instead of just posting the top volleyball clubs in order by RPI standings, starting this week we’ll take the fresh RPI numbers to place teams in the regional brackets. As in the past, clubs in Classes 3A-4A-5A skip district tournaments and move directly into regional events.
The top 36 teams (including league champions) receive invitations to the regional tournament and based on RPI are placed in a pre-determined bracket. The top 12 teams in the RPI serves as hosts for the three-team tournaments and winners of those events advance to the state tournament
