RPI standings for Class 4A and 5A have been updated this morning (Sunday) and again we use those numbers to place team in projected regional tournament brackets. The top 36 teams from each classification automatically qualify for the regional round and are placed in the bracket based on their RPI standing.
The top 12 teams in the RPI host the three-team events with the eventual champion advancing to the state tournament in Denver. The state event has also shifted away from a pool format to a double-elimination tournament through the semifinals where the event then turns to single elimination.
Below are potential brackets based on standings from September 30th. Some lower seeds could be moved by the volleyball committee for geographic purposes but we use in a true seed in our projections.
