The Tri Valley title is on the line tonight as #3 Mead hosts #4 Holy Family in Class 4A.  That contest heads up the boys’ basketball top 10 schedule for Thursday.  Mead won the first meeting so they lead the Tigers by one game in the standings.
The Mavericks of course clinch the title outright with a win but the two teams will share the championship if Holy Family grabs the victory tonight and also tops Berthoud on Saturday.  This is the final game of the regular season for Mead.
In Class 2A, #10 Simla must gain a win at Colorado Springs School to remain tied with Peyton and Dolores Huerta Prep atop the Black Forest.  If all three teams finish together at the top RPI standings will be used to determine the top district seed.  Peyton and Simla are basically tied for 12th in the standings with Dolores Huerta at #22.
There is also a post-season game in 2A tonight as Las Animas meets Hoehne in an elimination game for District 6.
Below is the entire list of games for top 10 clubs.  We’ll post results to our Scoreboard and final scores can be sent to Colorado Preps by text to 970.380.7737.
