Boys Top 10

Boys’ basketball Top 10 action set for Friday night is heavily tilted toward the smaller classifications.  Classes 1A and 2A see almost every ranked team in action while the top three divisions have a combined 11 clubs on the court.

In Class 2A, a pair of top 10 battles have different items on the line.  Simla and Peyton battle for the Black Forest conference lead while Yuma-Byers meet up to help determine the higher ranked spots in RPI.

In Class 1A, Kit Carson looks to maintain sole possession of the High Plains league lead and Peetz looks to keep pace with Prairie atop the North Central.  Top ranked DeBeque must avoid looking past Vail Mountain to an important Saturday date with Plateau Valley.

In Class 5A, Grandview keeps the lead in the Centennial with a win but Smoky Hill creates a two-way tie for the top spot if they avenge an earlier loss to the Wolves.
