GIRLS TOP 10 – FEB 2ND

Girls Top 10

It’s a very good schedule in Class 1A involving top 10 girls’ basketball teams.  The highlight is the top five clash between #1 Kit Carson and #5 Haxtun.  Neither team will face off in district or regionals but the outcome could affect state tournament seedings if both teams advance that far.

It’s the same scenario between #6 Genoa Hugo and #7 Fleming.  The Pirates are 2nd in RPI and battling for the top overall spot with Fleming sitting sixth.

A third matchup of note is in Southeast Colorado between rivals South Baca and Kim/Branson.  The visiting Mustangs have spent time in the Top 10 this year but seeks their first league win.

In the 2A Lower Platte, Yuma can virtually lock down the league title by beating Merino.

Below if the complete list of games for top 10 girls’ basketball.  Final scores will be posted on our Daily Scoreboard.  Results can be sent to Colorado Preps by text at 970.380.7737.
