Girls Top 10

The makeup game between Evergreen and Holy Family in Class 4A tops the girls basketball top 10 schedule for Tuesday night.  They are ranked fourth and sixth in the latest statewide polls and more importantly are third and sixth in the RPI rankings today.  The winner could easily land a top four seed in the state tournament bracket.

Elsewhere, conference leaders collide in Class 2A as Del Norte meets Ignacio.  The Tigers are unbeaten and top the Southern Peaks conference while the Bobcats are in first in the San Juan.

In Class 5A, Broomfield and Legacy are part of a three-way tie for second with Horizon inside the Front Range.  All three teams trail first place Fossil Ridge by one game.  All four teams are in action tonight including the head-to-head neighborhood battle between the Eagles and Lightning.
