2A VOLLEYBALL TEAM CAPSULES

2A state volleyball team capsules
Rangely is joined by league member Meeker and Dolores as Western Colorado teams trying to land the 2A state championship this week. Defending state champion Dayspring Christian is back to defend it's crown and 2015 winner Yuma is the top overall seed. The Santa Fe league also has three representatives in Swink, Hoehne and Fowler.

Seven of the programs in the Class 2A volleyball tournament field have won state titles including defending champion Dayspring Christian.  The Eagles are seeded third in the bracket while 2015 champion Yuma is the top ranked team overall.  Also in a very talented field are three clubs from the Santa Fe and two from the Western Slope.  Two league rivals of Dayspring Christian from the Mile High will also challenge for the crown.

The bracket opens with eight pool matches on Friday and concludes with four more first round battles and the semifinals leading up to the state championship match at 7:00pm Saturday night.  All matches can be seen live at www.NFHSNetwork.com.

Colorado Preps will post scores on our volleyball scoreboard both days with updates after every set.
